Dick Bellamy Remembered -- Dick with Blue Eyes, 1989

Dick with blue eyes, Dick looking worried, troubled. The crudeness of this painting found an unexpected relationship with a crude rendering of Dick's physiognomyy. The image revealed it's self with the tear- art sometimes makes itself.

I made several paintings at this time just on scrap pieces of plywood with shaped fiberglass forms.
